When choosing a helmet, it’s important to find one that fits well and is comfortable. A helmet that’s too loose will move around or not sit fully on your head, while one that’s too tight will be uncomfortable. A well-fitting helmet should:

  • Sit level on your head, with the front edge one inch or less above your eyebrows
  • Provide even pressure around your head, without uncomfortable pressure points
  • Not move when you shake your head
  • Have cheek pads that squish your cheeks together slightly
