        submitted documents. They may:

Cross-reference details within different pieces of evidence (e.g., does the product in the photo match the one ordered? Do the dates on the shipping document align with the chat history?).

Look for signs of digital tampering in images and documents.

Request additional, verifiable evidence from either party if something seems suspicious.

Third-Party Verification: In complex or high-value disputes, Alibaba may engage third-party services, such as independent inspection companies, to verify claims on the ground. This is a powerful tool against fake evidence.

        3. Severe Consequences for Submitting Fake Evidence
The penalties for being caught submitting fake evidence are swift and severe, and apply to both buyers and suppliers.

        For a Supplier:

Immediate loss of the dispute and liability for the full refund to the buyer.

A permanent black mark on their business profile.

Significant downgrade of their supplier ranking and trust score.

Removal from the Trade Assurance program.

Suspension or permanent termination of their entire Alibaba.com storefront. This is a business-ending consequence.

        Issue description

The supplier’s last submission of evidence is fake and it is in violation of Alibaba’s policy against submitting fake or falsified evidence.

We have solid proof that the supplier’s evidence is fake.
We have located the person (Thomas) in his fake chat screenshot.
We found his accounts on Facebook and LinkedIn, and we had a chat with Kristoffer Bringslid to verify an order with the supplier.
We asked Kristoffer if he placed an order with Linyi Junteng Trading Co. and Kristoffer replied “My picture, I didn’t order anything”

I have attached screenshots of our chat with Kristoffer on Facebook.

This supplier has submitted fake and falsified evidence that violates Alibaba’s Trade Assurance policy which results in “Immediate loss of the dispute and liability for the full refund to the buyer” and “Suspension or permanent termination of their entire Alibaba.com storefront”

        Alibaba’s Policy

        1. Official Policy and Terms of Use
Alibaba’s terms of service and the specific Trade Assurance rules strictly prohibit dishonest behavior. This includes:

Providing Falsified Documents: This includes forged invoices, altered bank transfer records, doctored photos or videos, fake inspection certificates, or fabricated chat logs.

Misrepresentation: Knowingly misstating facts or presenting evidence out of context to mislead the dispute mediator.

Collusion: When a buyer and supplier conspire to create a false dispute, for example, to illegitimately claim a refund or damage a competitor.

        2. How Alibaba Combats Fake Evidence
Alibaba has several mechanisms in place to detect and handle fraudulent evidence:

Dedicated Dispute Team: Trade Assurance disputes are handled by a specialized team trained to scrutinize evidence. They are experienced in spotting inconsistencies and red flags.

Evidence Verification: The team actively checks the authenticity of

      • (Buyer) Uploaded evidenceIssue descriptionYou are not looking at our factual proof carefully. I ask that you show your supervisor and team the evidence we have provided. You can clearly see from the picture the supplier sent to us in Alibaba Messenger 2025-07-30 that the cartons they are loading are not 114 inches.

The supplier has not provided any proof or explanation of the dimensions that are being loaded in the picture.

I have shown in this image what 114in cartons look like when loaded in a 20ft container.

We have also shown proof that the supplier does not apply anticounterfeit labels on the panels from pictures found in actual customer reviews.

If we can not get a fair mediation of this issue, we have no choice but to move forward with our legal counsel in China and we will fight for cost of goods and freight cost.

This supplier committed fraud and should be prosecuted to the highest level and not be allowed to sell on Alibaba. We are working with attorneys in China now to see that this supplier pays for their actions – civil and criminal, and is shutdown. Suppliers like this , ruin the reputation of the Alibaba platform , and buyers like me will not trust Alibaba for future purchases. I am clearly not protected under your Trade Assurance agreement, and the process is clearly biased towards sellers.

        Hi michael jui,

Thank you for contacting Alibaba regarding Trade Assurance order 269294959501027197. I am Mia, and I am glad to be at your service.

We are sorry for your loss in this order. According to our rules, since the seller did indeed send the correct model product, we could not simply ask the seller to agree with your refund request. The merchant has stated that the product you have provided is not one of their items. Based on the photographic evidence you have currently submitted, it cannot be proven that the merchant sent you the incorrect size.

We understand your concerns and appreciate your loyalty as a customer. To enhance your sourcing experience, we will apply for a special discretionary credit of 300 USD for this transaction. This credit reflects our gratitude for your business. Please keep this information confidential.

I would like to know your thoughts on this proposal. If you refuse the proposal from the platform or do not reply, the complaint is unable to be followed up further and you are suggested to negotiate with the supplier directly. Please review the evidence and verify by looking at the supplier’s reviews.

I have attached screenshots of the reviews and a video uploaded by the supplier’s customer.

We also noticed many 1 star reviews of the supplier’s customers complaining about receiving the wrong size panels. You may want to look at the 1 star reviews. This supplier should not be selling on the Alibaba platform with this many complaints.

We have shown factual proof from the picture that the supplier sent to us that clearly shows cartons that are 79 inches and not 114 inches.

Please ask the supplier to show real proof like we have.

Just saying the panels have anticounterfeiting labels is not proof, anyone can say that. Show us the proof.

      • (Buyer) Uploaded evidenceIssue descriptionThe buyer is lying about this anticounterfeiting label. The buyer sent panels without this label with the intention to use this as way to send panels that were not the size we ordered.

        1. Please ask the supplier to show evidence of this label on all the panels that were shipped to us and a video of the supplier putting 114in panels with this label into 114in cartons with our label on the end of the carton.

        2. Please ask the supplier for more pictures and video of the container loading and to explain the size of the cartons that were loaded into the container.

        3. Also, please contact prior customers of the supplier that ordered this same product, and ask them if they received panels with this label on them.

Please look at the evidence closely. The pictures do not lie. The picture the supplier sent on 2025-07-30 clearly shows that they loaded cartons that were not 114 inches. The cartons they loaded are 79 inches.

Attached are pictures of the back side of the panels the supplier sent to us.

This is the first time we have ordered this type of product, as you can see in our Alibaba account. We have been a loyal Alibaba customer since 2007. We have no reason to lye about the fact of this supplier sent us 79 inch panels instead of the 114in panels we ordered. If you or your Alibaba dispute team can not see this in the picture the supplier sent us panels that are not 114in, than I will loose trust in placing orders through Alibaba again.

      • (Buyer) Uploaded evidenceIssue descriptionWe need to address the primary issue of the incorrectly sized panels we received. The container loading picture from 2025-07-30 serves as factual evidence that the shipped cartons do not match our order specifications, and the supplier will not give us or the Alibaba dispute team a clear explanation of the size of the cartons being loaded on the container.

Incorrect Panel Size: The loading photo from 2025-07-30 provides clear evidence that the carton dimensions are inconsistent with our order. No valid explanation from the supplier.

Irrelevant Diversion: The discussion of anti-counterfeit labels is unrelated to the core issue of the wrong-sized panels. Our team has inspected all panels and confirmed that no such labels are on the back of the panels.Attachmentsloaded_container_carton_dimensions_image17.jpg2025-10-04 09:32:49

      • (Buyer) Uploaded evidenceIssue descriptionHello Mia

The shipment consists of 136 large individual cartons. Physically, it is impossible to weigh all 136 cartons individually and simultaneously on a single scale with pictures, as no standard commercial scale has the capacity or surface area for such a large volume. You can see the size and amount or cartons in the container images.

We have gathered more compelling evidence that we believe more directly address the core issue of this dispute, which shows specifically the wrong product size. We would like to respectfully submit the following for your review:

        Image 1, 2: On July 2nd, 2025 conversation with supplier showing the size I placed order for – 16.5 x 290cm (6.5in x 114in) – quantity 4224

Image 3, 4, 5: Commercial Invoice and Packing List showing 275 cartons

Image 6, 7, 8: Supplier sends picture of label and loading of the goods into 20ft container on July 30th, 2025
        Label on carton showing 6.5in x 114in
2 rows of cartons shown loaded in container. 65 inches of remaining space of the container shown.

Image 8b: Supplier image of loading 20ft container showing 2 rows of cartons

Image 8c: Supplier image of loading 20ft container showing cartons on 96in pallet.

Image 9: Comparison between 79in carton (2 rows) and 114in (2 rows) inside 20ft container.
        2 x 79in cartons leaves 65in of remaining space
2 x 114in cartons leaves no remaining space

Image 10, 11: Measurement of cartons using a measuring tape and side wall corrugation measurements of container.

Image 12: Unloading of container showing the size of the cartons using the side wall corrugation measurements of container.

        Image 13, 14: Panels measuring 79in x 6in (200cm x 15cm)

These images clearly show that the supplier sent 79in (200cm) panels.
